Garlic & Herb Cheese Log

  • 300g cream cheese 
  • 1 1/2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives 
  • 1 1/2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley 
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh basil leaves 
  • 1 1/2 tsp finely chopped fresh oregano leaves 
  • 1 garlic clove, minced 
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (optional)
  • Drizzle of hot honey 
  • 2 tbsp Chilli Crunch Oil
  1. In a medium bowl add cream cheese, herbs, garlic, lemon zest, salt and pepper and whisk to combine. 
  2. Add this cheese mixture to a large piece of plastic wrap and form into the shape of a log. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze for 20-30 minutes until the cheese log slightly firm so it holds its shape.
  3. Line counter with a large piece of parchment paper. Add chopped nuts and spread into a single layer square a little larger than the length of the cheese log.
  4. Roll cheese log until evenly coated, pressing the cheese so it sticks. The cheese log can be refrigerated at this point until ready to serve or serve immediately.
  5. When ready to serve, remove the cheese log from the refrigerator 15 minutes beforehand so it can soften. Drizzle with BLACK MAMBA HOT HONEY and CHILLI CRUNCH OIL just before serving. Serve with crackers.
